Dig Again

A new day is an opportunity for new things
It is a gift from God

A chance to press the reset button. A chance to start all over again
What are you going to do with the opportunity?

Unfortunately, not everyone realizes the gift of each new day.
Some party away, doing everything except to recognize the importance of the gift.

God wants to start all over with you.

His message to you is: DIG AGAIN!

Do it again, start all over again.

Go back to where you have failed and do it again

The previous years could have brought failures. Your friends and loved ones could have despised you or given up on you but God is saying DIG AGAIN

God must have told Isaac the same thing.

Text: Genesis 26:15-25

What does it mean to DIG AGAIN?

It means doing everything you have failed at in the past.
It means trying things you have never attempted before.
It means going forward and not looking back.
It means not wasting time complaining about what you lost or don’t have, but rather making the most of what you have now!

Isaac dug again!

In spite of the opposition Isaac didn’t give up, he took every day as an opportunity to try again what didn’t work earlier.

There will be quarrels – “Esek”
There will be enemies – “Sitnah”
But if you don’t give up, then you will get to “Rehoboth” – which means spaciousness

How do you dig again?

  1. Draw your goals and write it down.

Don’t keep your goals in your head, you may soon forget them.
Rather write them in a place where it won’t can’t be forgotten or misplaced.

The importance of writing down what you want to achieve cannot be over-emphasized.

Habakkuk 2:2
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

Writing means putting clarity to your thoughts and aspirations,
It makes your thoughts visible,
Writing your goals is a step of faith.

  1. Write a plan to achieve each of your goals

Without strategy plans, written goals are nothing but beautiful handwriting.
A strategy plan is the vehicle that moves your goals from dreams to reality.

Failing to plan is planning to fail.

What are your plans?
How are they different from the last time you failed?

Doing the same thing the same way is madness!

  1. Work out the plan with God

Work lies between your goals and you. Hard work.
Plans are not an end in themselves but the means to an end.

Isaac started digging again after making his plans. and you know that digging is hard work.
Don’t just work hard, work smart too.

Work smart is to work with God!

Psalms 127:1-2
Unless the Lord builds the house, They labour in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.

Working with God is to carry God along with your plans and work,
Ask for His guidance and help. Committing your work to Him in your prayers.

A new day is a brand-new chance to move forward

Refuse to be afraid

Dig Again !!!
